Weeds on the Web Listserv

The Nature Conservancy's Invasive Species Initiative - Global Invasive Species Initiative listserves.
The Nature Conservancy's Global Invasive Species Initiative maintains an invasive species listserve for people (not just TNC staff) who are working in any aspect of invasive species issues. If you wish to join our invasive species listserve, contact Barry Rice at bamrice@ucdavis.edu. Tell Barry the following information, and he'll sign you up:
1)Your name;
2)The state & country you wish to be identified with (i.e. where do you do most of your work?);
3)Are you a TNC employee (not a requirement for participating in the listserve).

Our listserve is moderated to stay relevant. Unrelated or off-topic postings, however interesting, should be sent to the "aliens listserve" maintained by the IUCN (to join that listserve, send the message "subscribe Aliens-l" to listadmin@indaba.iucn.org).

APHIS: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/ppq/weeds/subscribe.htm

Noxious Weeds Listserver - U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)

APHIS hopes that this forum will encourage idea sharing on noxious weeds (or other invasive plants) that impact U.S. agriculture. We hope to hear from weed specialists, the nursery industry, environmental and natural resources organizations, agronomists, farmers, scientists in academia and the government sector, and regulatory officials in the plant health arena Likewise, APHIS employees are encouraged to post to the list. Finally, and perhaps most important, APHIS views this mailing list as a way to share information about noxious weeds with the general public.
